Corben's Class Spider Tea Party

I helped in Corben's class party today

They read to all the 1st graders a book called Miss Spider's Tea Party, the book has manners in it and is lots of fun.  Then they came into the cafeteria and decorated cupcakes to look like spiders 

Then they found their placemat and practiced eating with manners. 

Corben is also wearing a spider pin on his shirt and got a spider ring!

I am also a Co-Room Mom for Corben's class, our teachers are great and do many class parties like this....so we just show up and help, we don't have to plan and think up creative parties!  yay!

Crazy Hair day at school

He told me how to put the stripes on his hair, they kind of match his shirt.

He loved his hair!!! 

Mason also had an exact plan for how she wanted her hair, lots of sparkles, braids and colors at the end! 

Corben said it was the funnest day at school, of course tons of fun in the shower watching all the colors in the water!

She loves to play until she gets tired running!

Kid Portrait Session by the River

I finally updated my camera, my first DSLR camera was bought almost 7 years ago, it was time for an upgrade.  I am loving my new camera!!

So took the kids out for a "hike" and some pictures

They were excited to both wear cowboy boots!

He kept doing his serious face! 

She still loves her cowgirl boots and loves to have her hair curled.
