We've been BOO-ed!

While we were eating dinner tonight...someone rang our doorbell...
The kids were so excited and we have no idea who "BOO-ed" us.
We made up 2 quick gifts with oreo cookies, candy corns and crayons in a little bucket and went to two friend's homes and BOO-ed them.
The kids loved sneaking up and ringing the door bell and running as fast as they could!
What a fun night!!!

Uncle John & Aunt Barbara visit

We were so happy to have Uncle John and Aunt Barbara visit us!
They walked kids to school and Mason loved showing Aunt Barbara her classroom and her routine

They came to a couple soccer practices and the boys played catch while the girls watched Mason play soccer
Uncle John helped hang up our lights for the fort....and they surprised the kids with additional lights to really light up their fort at night

Aunt Barbara made sticker pumpkins with the kids
Everyone's favorite were the "Asian" pumpkins!
Special treat for frozen yogurt at Mickeys
Love how Mason is looking up at Aunt Barbara
We also had many nights of reading books and the kids loved laying on the bed with Aunt Barbara while she read to them!

Then they used a selfie stick and headed to Yosemite and Mammoth for a fishing trip

When they came back it had rained and we were so thankful and continued our great walks to school
...
Uncle John and Caleb spent many hours in the garage painting and installing cabinets (Caleb found them at Restore, painted and will add doors on each one)
Aunt Barbara and I cleaned and picked up the garage and it was such a joint effort that really helped us move far along in the project!
...

Aunt Barbara and Kathleen went to a cooking class one evening
at a friend's house
Mushroom Bleu Cheese Crostini
Final presentation
All the ladies (Aunt Barbara took the picture)
We shared more sweet nights of frozen yogurt
...
Thank you Uncle John and Aunt Barbara for everything!

Kids in the Cul-de-sac

Corben has 2 new friends in his class that live down the street from us.
Evan Le is above (his mother also works with Kathleen)
Great connection and great friend
Zander is the other little boy in their class
He has been coming over and playing basketball too
beautiful fall nights watching the sunset
Evan came over to play and brought his sister Ellie (who is 9)
The four played really well together
soon after this picture, Zander and his older came down and 2 other boys down the street came and this cul-de-sac was filled with children.
We loved it and love that they have friends nearby to play...part of the reason we wanted to move into "town".
Aww...makes my heart so happy to see this!  We told the parents they are welcome ANYTIME!!!
