All the present wrapped under the tree
We celebrated on Christmas Eve this year because Caleb worked Christmas day
The kids waiting anxiously to come downstairs to see what Santa brought them
Corben's opened gifts that Santa left him with his stocking
(Corben did tell us that he thought Santa was parents, but that he wanted to keep believing in order to receive)
Mason's items from Santa
We then ate breakfast together (eggs, cinnamon rolls and fruit) Cinnamon rolls will be a new tradition per the kid's request.
Then we opened all our wrapped presents.

So thankful
...
On Christmas Day, we went back to church for the Christmas day service and the kids got to sit with me in "big church"...as we left, each child received a gift from the church.
I had prepped the kids saying we would be thankful for any gift the church gave us and they would probably all be similar, etc.
....
Well the kids LOVE the emoji pillows and told me it was "Exactly what we wanted!! SCORE!"
haha!
Perfect emojis for these two!

After church we did something new and went to the movies, our theater has newly installed recliners in every seat and tray tables. Apparently watching movies on Christmas was only new to us and not others, the movie was almost sold out so we sat in the second row from the front!
The funniest thing that happened is that we went home after church and I took off my shoes and went inside barefoot and my feet were cold so I put on Caleb's large slippers. When we left for the movie, I didn't even think twice and loaded everyone in the car. As we pulled up and got out of the car, Corben asked why was I wearing slippers? and why Dad's slippers that were obviously too big? We had a huge laugh the entire time and once we realized the movie was almost sold out we had no time to run home....so the kids stood right by me and tried to hide my feet as they laughed non stop!
