Mason's field trip

Mason was Super Star this week and brought in a poster with all pictures of herself and things she likes to do.
I got to go with Mason on her class field trip
Riding on the bus with friend Amanda, Abby M and Max
First stop, Young Chefs Academy to make breadsticks

Super yummy!
Then they went to the grocery store to learn all about behind the scenes how they frost cakes, wash produce, package meats and up at the register to scan items.

Boot Camp

I started boot camp 5 days a week with a friend Kim.
We have completed 2 weeks, although Kim hurt her foot and has been out.  I have been sore everyday since. Apparently you have to do burpee when its somebody's birthday.

Patio Construction

We started our patio covering out by the pool
The concrete slab and footings have been done for the last year, so we finally started the patio project.
Uncle John helped Caleb finalize plans and order all the wood. Once the delivery came, we have been working everyday
Staining long glue lambs
Caleb starting wrapping all the posts with rock, the wood was then delivered and the rock will have to be finished later.
Lots of sanding and painting posts and rafters (taupe color) blends in well with the concrete.
For perspective to see where the patio covering is compared to our pool
First glue lamb up
Second glue lamb up and a couple of rafters installed.
All rafters are up now and Caleb is routing for the electrical to hang lights and fans.
Starting to stain all the tongue and groove boards that will go on top of the rafters.

Mother's Day

Kids and I had a wonderful Mother's Day.
Caleb was working....so kids and I started at church and then went to a flower nursery for a few new rose bushes, ivy and angel vine.  We then went to lunch and then home to plant.
We had a great day! I am so thankful that I am their Mommy!

Allergies

Kids swimming! Had to show a good picture of Corben before the next few pics.
Corben getting his allergy testing done
He continues to need his asthma inhaler and take multiple medications for allergies/sinus infections, so the Doctor recommended we test him to see exactly what he is allergic to and consider allergy shots to desensitize him.
He wasn't a happy camper
A positive is a small red dot...as you can see he is severely allergic to all weeds, grass, most trees, dust, mold.
He was happy he is not allergic to cat, dog or horses.
The aftermath lasted a few hours
...
He starts weekly shots in June, he gets them weekly for 3-5 years and then the desensitization should last 20+ years.  The doctor thinks he will be off all allergy medications and probably off his asthma inhalers too.  Takes 3 months to start seeing a difference. We are hopeful.

Watching Eli's Track meet

We met Uncle Paul and Eli to watch Eli run in a relay for Valley Championships at Buchanan High School
