Caleb and Uncle John installed new granite counter tops and new sink.  Caleb framed out the mirror in our guest bathroom. 

New flooring and entry rug. 

Gills visit

Uncle John and Aunt Barbara visited during the first week back to school and really helped us get a routine and schedule in place.  The kids are both in many activities and figuring out times and dinners, etc. was a lot- but so thankful for Uncle John and Aunt Barbara doing life with us.  We also got lots of work done on the house!

Homemade pizzas 

Went out to a fish farm to get more koi fish for our pond.  Ended up in Pistachio fields and water reservoir to see all the koi fish.

Flooring and kitchen updating

We embarked on the task of tearing out all of our dirty white carpet downstairs, up the stairs, and in hallway upstairs. 

Then we started pulling up tile...however, this thin set was stuck extremely well and it was a long process to scrape away all the thin set to get down to cement floors.  

We are absolutely loving our vinyl plank wood flooring.  It snaps in super easy and quick 

Requires cutting, Caleb taught both kids to measure and cut the boards 

Everyone is helping lay the flooring 

We are also having the entire downstairs and upstairs hallway painted...we chose Wordly Gray
