Wild Water Adventure Park

Well....we had plans to surprise the kids and head to San Diego Sea World for 2 days, but Caleb is still fighting the wildland fire, so our plans were cancelled....so I took the kids to Wild Water Adventure just a few miles from our home.  It was a slower day since Fresno schools are back in session, Clovis start next week.  We have lived here 5 years and haven't been...it was quite FUN!!!
The Pirate Ship

The large wave pool (like ocean waves)

Tons of slides and sprays of water.

more slides
We packed a lunch and snacks and stayed from 11 am when they opened til almost 5 pm. I am still kind of in shock we did that.  The kids almost fell asleep in the car and were asleep in bed by 7 pm.
...
We also stopped naps this week (because Corben will be in 1st grade and at school all day and Mason will be in the afternoon Transitional Kindergarten, from noon-3 pm (when she normally naps).  They have also been going to bed closer to 8:30-9pm all summer.  So this week is all about getting them back on schedule and ready for school next week.

Neighbor Friends

Well it happened....the kids had their first knock on the door to come out and play by sweet little Lauren next door.  She will be going into 3rd grade.  They have played 2 nights in a row and it is all the kids talk about.  Now whenever the door bell rings, they think it is for them (it is usually UPS or FedEX...haha, I love online shopping and Christmas is right around the corner).

Hair cuts and Movie Day

These 2 showing off their new haircuts for school
Mason lately wants her hair curled!
Mason picked her outfit head to toe and requested that I also wear my leopard flats, Corben wanted to wear his planes shirt to the Planes 2 movie!

A few shots from the movie....it was all about Fire and Rescue and wildland forest fires.
...
It seemed fitting to take the kids since Caleb is currently on a wildland fire.  He has been there since Monday and expected to be home by Sunday.  The movie was great and seemed pretty true to what Caleb has told us goes on....excited to see the movie again with Daddy home!

Splash Pad Fun

Only one park in town has a splash pad....so we went !!!
We had been previous years, but not yet this summer!

The kids had a blast and ran all over.

They really loved getting water dumped on them....a 1st for them!  haha!

Missed the dump....so they stepped back...

Love these 2 and our fun summer days.

Frozen Booth at church

Queen Elsa from Frozen was at a booth at our church
and there was SNOW!

Popsicles and Olaf too!
