Hume Lake Women's Retreat

I went to a Women's Retreat at Hume Lake 

I drove up with my friend Suanne, we had massages the first day, hot stone massages that were fabulous and relaxing! 

Both mornings I got up early and jogged/walked around the lake with my friend Julie 

One of the activities we did was shoot a 22 riffle...

I had a relaxing time!! Missed the family!  Caleb was at work, so the kids stayed at Pop and Nonie's house for the weekend.

They had a great time too!

He recently moved to Bakersfield, across the street from Pop and Nonie 

The kids love Pop's dog Angus 

They made birthday cards for Aunt Amy.

School Jog-a-thon

Mason took off fast!!!!  She is a little runner! 

They had to get a stick with each lap so we knew how many laps she ran

Then her class got to watch and cheer for Corben's class while they ran a larger lap 

Of course there was music....so there was dancing with her friend Alicia 

Then came Corben (black shirt, blue shorts)

His friend Micah is ahead of him, he was funny and would walk whenever he was tired, but he would run to try to keep up with Micah.  He ran 9 laps (but they were much larger than Mason's laps) 

Mrs. Lyons is cheering him on, she is one of Corben's teachers

Mason's Tea Party

Mason invited her friend, Hailey Anne, over for a tea party. Her younger sister came along also.  The more the merrier.  They used the new "real" tea set Meme and Papa John gave to Mason and poured real water and ate finger foods.  This cute tea table and chairs was a gift for Mason for her new room from Meme and Papa, we brought it downstairs for the tea party, but it is usually in Mason's room!
