There is a neighborhood in Clovis that decorates with lots of lights for Christmas. People come and walk the streets at night to view the bright lights.
We met a group of friends from Mommy's work at Childrens Hospital to walk with and view all the pretty holiday lights. Our family during the holiday lights walk, Mommy is carrying Mason in the baby carrier.
One house had a fun musical dancing bear and penquins, so Corben got out of his stroller with some friends and danced along!!
Mommy & Corben and all the bright lights
One house had a Santa Claus set up and if you brought canned food donations you could take a picture with Santa.
...
Well it started out great and Santa gave Corben a candycane...
However, Corben was terrified of Santa and started screaming!
Mason's first picture with Santa Claus,
she did great so we thought maybe brother Corben would sit with Santa and sister...
wrong! Bad idea...Corben still screaming and not interested in sitting with Santa!
We let Corben open one gift early.....he was a pro at unwrapping the gift... and he just loves his Mickey Mouse Christmas Pajamas ... The problem now is that he wants to keep opening gifts every day!
The mountain view from standing in our backyard, the snow level is really low.
The view from our upstairs patio Since we didn't go outside today...we make a different kind of chex mix... Snickerdoodle Chex Mix! Corben loves using measuring cups and loves eating cereal out of the box! Corben with jingle bells around his wrist moving them as fast as he can! ... Note: The jingle bells were previously hanging on the Christmas tree, so yes, he has begun taking the ornaments off the tree! Oh fun!
Tonight we got a sweet surprise from cousin Payton and Nonie here to visit and spend the night. Mason gave out a few smiles and also "talked" quite a bit for cousin Payton.
They also helped give her a bath...which Mason just LOVES!!
