He is Risen...Easter 2012

Today we went to a Easter Church service with Papa John, Meme, Mickey and JoAnn, our friends Stacey, Fred, Sophia and Sophia's grandmother.

Then we went to our house for lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids!

We are so grateful....what a wonderful day!

Garden

We had many gophers in our garden last year....

so we made raised garden beds with wire mesh at the bottom to prevent the rodents.

We have one ready to plant...so today the kids and I planted tomatoes and carrots

We met friend, Sophia, at the zoo today and they loved riding in the wagon together!

For the first time we went into the reptile house and saw many snakes, lizards and frogs.  The kids really enjoyed finding all the animals!

Painting Rocks

I think the kids were most excited about putting on their art smocks!

They love to play with rocks and Cheryl has made them painted animal rocks in the past....today was their turn to paint their own rocks! 

Of course Corben always picks red and Mason has a soft spot for purple!
