Splash Park

Today we went to the Splash pad park...

Corben wanted to wear all his water gear, but then was shy when we got to the park...

so we went to the slides first.

Then we walked back over the water area and I put Mason in her suit...

and Corben was also ready to get wet!

Corben then decided it was time for a lunch snack...

so both kids ate and and watched all the other kids

With help....Corben went up the rock wall

and then he was HAPPY!

Jason had him go back and forth from the stairs out to him....

Corben closed his mouth and even started kicking a little too!

He kept saying  "fun" !

He climbed right up and wanted to touch any tools & equipment

In AWE....this is an old fire engine more for "show"...

it was Corben's favorite!!

Corben counts to 10, knows all his colors, repeats letters and recognizes letters of the alphabet, can pretty much repeat any word you say and then remembers the words!!  His vocabulary has really taken off in the last couple of months!  So amazing to watch him discover new words and ideas!

 He is recognizing fire engines driving around town and waves to Daddy and starting to understand Daddy is a fireman!

...

He can dribble and kick a soccer ball and is getting better every day, hits balls with golf clubs and he is getting better and stronger every day with tossing balls and learning to catch!

This boy loves to move and stay active!

...

He is a hard worker and almost every day he is carrying some sort of tool in a pocket, he loves to wear boots outside and is liking swim lessons more and more!

Visiting Daddy at the Fire Station

We took a drive today and went to Daddy's Fire Station!

SURPRISE!!!

We got a phone call this monring that Uncle John & Aunt Barbara from Texas were stopping by for lunch!!!

Yippee!!

Fresno State Football Game

They sat on the 40 yard line, 5 rows from the field

Corben liked watching all the football players!

Corben stayed really close to Daddy the whole game, but did get up and stand and watch the band and dancers at half time.  He also snacked on Kettle Corn! 

What a fun night with Daddy, they stayed until the end of the third quarter.
