First Vegetable/Fruit Garden

Corben has his wheelbarrow heading out to the garden
Mason Kate taking her orange slices out to the garden, she let brother carry all her garden tools in his wheelbarrow!
Eating a snack
Mason's got her bucket
Our vegetable and fruit garden!!!
8 rows and notice the 5 rows of corn seeds in the back
Some seeds and a lot of plants
Nice little gate to enter the garden
Corben using his new sprayer to water his pumpkin patch
Corben, Daddy, Papa John and Pop all helped with the garden planting
Corben and Daddy
Up close view, prior to watering, so they are a little dry...it's already in the 70's here!
Pretty straight rows...Caleb lined each row with a premeasured string and that kept us on the right track!
Oh....garden....I love you...
and I am praying I am a good gardener to grow and harvest our fruits and vegetables!!!

Under the fort of blankets

Corben & Mason helped build a fort of blankets and were playing underneath with all their toys!

Outdoor life

Mason's outdoor life involves a lot of dirt, she just sits down and gets dirty!
Corben is all things Fireman right now
Notice his walkie-talkie, hat, jacket and fire axe
Hard at work
This picture scares me a little!
She is one tough chick!
Those blocks of wood are heavy and she is a hard worker like her brother!
Mason & Corben playing on the wood pile.
Corben constantly says he is a Fireman and Mason is the helicopter girl!!!  Too funny!
Trying to catch bugs, butterflies....anything really!
Notice our fruit trees in the back with our nice white stakes
Here is an upclose view
Our fruit trees are growing and are all now properly labeled!
Thanks to Nonie and Pop for helping!
Just a little update on my herb garden!  Growing strong!
We also planted Berries along our West fence (Raspberry, Blackberry, & Blueberry)
Stay tuned for our vegetable garden...
Pop & Caleb already made a fenced-in garden, slightly raised, looking forward to planting in a couple of weeks.

Swim Lesson # 2

Stading outside the heated tent watching Mason...
she still cried quite a bit...but actually did some of what Jason asked.
Riding the frog and kicking some.
Giving Jason high-fives
Swimming towards the side to grab on, hit the turtles down, and monkey crawl to the step
I think it is so cute how she turns and looks at Jason!
She actually did quite well at this exercise!
Less tears are always a good thing!  Swimming is fun!
Corben kicking and actually moving the frog on his own!
Corben has been forgetting to keep his mouth closed, so they are focusing on closing his mouth and not getting any water in.

Corben's drawing

Corben was drawing again and ran up to me and told me he drew a fish!
It really looks like a fish!!
Great job Corben!

Peanut butter Red Peppers

Mason's peanut butter face!
Meme feeding kids lunch: red bell peppers with peanut butter...
they loved it and were giving her kisses!

SWIM LESSONS!!

Thanks to Papa John, Meme, Popm & Nonie...
Both kids have started swim lessons!
Corben went right in with Jason....no issues, wore his goggles...ready to learn to swim!
Big smiles while kicking!
Swimming towards the wall to learn to grab on and knock over the turtle
Picking up the rings
(notice Mason is throwing in another ring for Corben)
Mason's 1st swim lesson consisted of a LOT of crying.
We stepped out of her view to see if that would help, so this is the only picture!
Hopefully she will pull through and enjoy swimming like brother!

Fun with Meme

Meme came to stay with us...the kids had a great time with her!!
Thanks Meme, we already miss you!
