Valentine's Day Celebration

We celebrated Valentine's day today after school
Daddy made heart shaped noodles for the kids
The kids home from school showing the Valentine's they gave to their friends and Mason wearing her beautiful heart crown

The kids brought home pictures they made in class
(Mom took all the pictures for Corben's class)

Caleb bought Mason a beautiful rose.
It's a tradition now for Caleb to always buy Mason flowers for Valentine's too!
(Mommy got a beautiful arrangement also)

Caleb on a wild Fire

Caleb was gone this last week fighting a wild fire near Mammoth, in Bishop, CA.

It snowed and the fire pretty much ran up to the snow and stopped

Meeting our new friend

Meeting Addison Grossman
A couple in our bible study had their first baby, so we took them over dinner and the kids got to meet sweet Addison

Mason just loved holding her and singing to her

Spring Flower Pictures

Sunny California and beautiful fields with yellow and white flowers
(Notice Corben lost his 3rd tooth, bottom left)

Taking pictures with our friend Presley Kate (her mom Ashley is Mom's friend and they take pictures together a lot...Presley's middle name is named after Mason Kate)

Siblings

Cute Presley Kate

These old suitcases were Poppa John Corso and Margie Corso's actual suitcases.  Nonie gave them to us and Mom was so excited to use a piece of their Great Grandparents in a picture.

Big smiles

Bike Ride

Both kids have new bikes (instead of hand-me-downs, ones that fit them properly)....so today I jogged while they rode ~2.5 miles.
(no whinning, so I would say the new bikes are a hit)
Of course Mason has a basket in front and carried water, hand sanitizer, and gum....they tried to bring snacks on the ride and I had to explain exercise and not eating.....are kids always hungry? (ps-Mason is really into hand sanitizer, carries on her backpack and loves using it)

Playing with legos

Corben & Mason spent one evening building all the pieces to Corben's Lego Artic Base Camp he got from Meme & Papa John....
and then I thought it would be fun to watch the movie Eight Below about a real artic base camp....well, apparently this movie is a true story and quit sad....both kids literally cried almost the entire movie.  Corben did tell Caleb the next day it is his favorite movie, so maybe I did ok?  Haha!

Bullseye

The kids and I went to Target and of course the new dog was a big hit

Lego Cookies to take to school

I made homemade sugar cookies and Mason helped me decorate them to look like LEGOS!
Corben enjoyed sharing them with his class at school on his actual birthday!
