Drive up to South Lake Tahoe
We stayed at the base of Heavenly...a friend gave us their time share for a reduced rate...and we were thrilled with the accommodations.

30 minute drive from South Lake Tahoe with more snow and great runs, also....all day ski school for the kids...which means Dad and Mom get to ski all day together!

the sun helped keep us warm
The ski school and small slopes the kids started on....they stayed here for day 1 and day 2 they moved up to the big hill.
It had been ~10 years since we last skied together!
