Mason's 7th Birthday PARTY!

I surprised her with real flowers on the tables- she loved it

She requested sandwiches for dinner, veggies, fruit and chips

Mason picked out the flower palettes, she helped paint watercolor stripes on their cups for their brushes.

In the background you can see the canvas with stripes, that is Mason's sample to show the girls.

We put a sticker heart on each canvas and after they painted we pulled off the heart to show it remained white underneath.

For the Love Conference

I went to the Jen Hatmaker, For the Love, Women's conference with 3 friends.

Games at the Frappe House

Our church opened a Frappe House (coffee house) on our church campus.

The kids and I went to play games and get hot chocolate after school on Friday

I went to a hand lettering class (kind of like modern calligraphy-using any pen type).

Red Bank Girls Soccer Club

Mason started soccer with the Red Bank Girls U8 Soccer Club...

We have 12 girls on the team and 7 came out to the first game (because the schedule got changed last minute and they played at 4:30pm on a very HOT day)

They play 4 on 4 on a field.
Mason scored the first goal for our team and they won the game 9 to 8.

Caleb's birthday

Look who turned 39!!

We had a relaxed day at home watching sports and hanging out together as a family!

Hard to see Caleb, but the candles made quite the flame!

Out to dinner, teppanyaki style, we tried a new place and loved it

Then we went to church on Saturday evening, the kids sitting on the new steps as part of the new courtyard.

Mason's quote

We received this email from Mason's teacher,

Mrs. Hillman.....

"Miss Mason is so Stinkin cute! So mature and totally "with it". Yesterday there was a student whining and she told me, "my mom said life isn't always fair and it sure isn't." I laughed so hard. She's a wonderful student to have! Love her to pieces."

That's our girl. Always cracking us up! Glad she is sharing her awesome self with her teacher and classmates!
