Daddy took Corben to the Pediatrician for a shot....

At 8 1/2 months Corben weighs 20 pounds, 7.5 ounces

He is also cutting 3 more teeth!! Standing any chance he gets, he can actually pull himself up with only a little help

Houston ZOO

Today we went to the Houston Zoo....Corben stayed awake the entire time and looked at every animal...and really watched as the animals moved around.

Corben really enjoyed watching the sea lions swim....partly because they were swimming so fast and partly because he really loves the water and wished he could swim with them. Corben really liked looking at the flamingos, pictured beyond the fence. Watching the Zebras...we saw our neighbors, the Wagners, and Corben enjoyed looking at Juliana, John, & Charley!! He actually waved today!!

It was a hot, humid day at the zoo....but we had a great time!!

Watching the Asian Elephant play with a tire, we also got to watch another elephant get a bath!!

We saw many tall Giraffes....there are 4 Giraffes in the background.

Corben really liked watching them move around.

Foods he likes right now: Acorn, Butternut, & Yellow Squash, Zuccini, Sweet potatoes, Peas, Carrots, Black beans & Pinto beans, Pears, Papaya, & Nectarines (all made by Mommy & Daddy).

Dewberry Farm

Today our Itty Bitty group went to Dewberry Farms,

it is about 60miles West of Houston in Brookshire, Texas.
