She is very happy with herself.

She can go all the way to the top without help...

and she is even a little daring and looks back down occasionally!

Jack...

Corben and Jack have been playing together a lot.

Jack is our next door neighboor and he is 5 years old.

They both stand at the fence and can talk and play for hours

Notice they both wear their boots!

Mason was waving to Corben and Jack and saying "bye"

So sweet, all she really wanted to do was crawl out in the dirt and play with them!

Cousin love and swim lessons

Cousin Colby came to visit us this morning...

just in time for swim lessons....holding hands walking out to the car.

Colby got to put his feet in the water while Corben picked up the rings

Then Corben was off kicking his feet

Next he went underwater and reached up for the edge.

Colby helped set up the turtles Corben had to knock down.

Then Corben had to hold on and get to the step

Going under water again and again with Jason

Jason said Corben is remembering to keep his mouth shut when going under a little more frequently!

This time Jason guided his head, and Corben reached for the edge all by himself!

Jumping into the pool!!!

Corben got to jump into the pool to Jason a few times today.

No crying during the jumps!

Once he jumped in, then Jason had him go under water.

 

Under water again

Jason reminding Corben to keep his mouth closed and Colby getting his feet wet and watching cousin Corben learn to swim.

I didn't get any pictures of Mason with Colby, but Colby was lovin' on her too and said she was really cute for a baby!!  So sweet!

Knees

Mason Kate loves to sit on her knees to play!

She also stood and balanced on her own today for a few seconds!!

(I am still learning how to use my camera on manual, she is a little blurry)

K-K-K-Kyndie

Kyndal and Nonie came up for the day.

We are teaching Corben how to say Kyndal's name and we were saying K-K-K-Kyndie all day long

Baby Calves

We have 4 new baby calves on the pasture by our house.

Corben loves to make "moo" ing sounds and watch the babies.

At first the Mama cow was mooing at us, but then we were able to get pretty close to the fence.

Break-through Swim Lesson # 4

Corben screamed the entire way to swim lesson and didn't want to do anything but kick...we talked with the Jason and the owner (who gave input the entire lesson)...and we had a BREAK -THROUGH!!!

Corben is in front of Jason going under water to get to the ledge.

Once he grabbed the ledge he had to move along the side to the step!

He did this several times today and the crying was only intermittently.

Here he goes again...

this is the funny part....

once the other instructor (girl) started sitting on the step, Corben would get to the step then stand up and kiss her shoulder and when Jason asked him to come to him...Corben replied, "no, I kiss", then he would go immediately to Jason.

We have a BIG FLIRT on our hands!!!

Next Jason had Corben stand on a step and swim out to Jason (under water)!

He was under water during his entire class!

Under water again!

Then he had to go under water and pick up the rings!

After class Corben ran out of the pool to get his lollipop and said "thanks" to Jason!

He then wanted to call everyone and say "mouth under water, hair wet!"

He did so good today in his swim lesson!

Photography...

 I took a photography workshop from a local Photographer.

I learned how to really use our DSLR camera on the manual setting.

We took pictures of a little boy....

and then also took pictures of a family.
