Long Beach

Be prepared....you are going to see a lot of Corben and Mason from the BACK!

We went to Long Beach to visit Mickey and Jo-Ann Marques

Our first stop was The Aquarium of the Pacific

The kids loved the big whale with the baby on the right

Corben shouted...hammer head shark!

He knew exactly what it was!

Three scuba divers were in the water talking about all the sea creatures.

Mason went up to the glass and all she wanted to see was the scuba guy.  She touched his hand on the glass in an "ET phone home" sort of way.  Scuba guy was all she focused on, she waved, blew kisses, etc.

We went to the Long Beach to run the Bubba Gump Run Forrest Run 5K

We all did really good on our times and improved.

Cousin Kimberly watched the kids while we ran.

Then we spent the day at the beach

Mason & Sophia's Princess Party

Birthday Princess Party for Mason and Sophia 

Sophia's grandmother made the princess cakes for the girls and then we served cupcakes to the guests 

Mason and Sophia penant banner with tulle pom-poms and large letter initials 

Penant banner, pink and purple table linens with crystals and sparkling beads down the center.  Then I made tulle pom-pom wands with ribbon and beads and placed them in mason jars down the center of the tables

Please notice on right of picture, corben in blue life vest almost to edge and Mason took off behind him in her life vest.  She never swims on her own across the pool, she went twice and felt so confident in her life vest!

We had a wonderful party for miss Mason and her friend.  We didn't open gifts till all the guests left...and wow was miss Mason blessed!  Thanks to wonderful family and friends!
