Mason made this beautiful water color for our Valentine's decorations. It turned out so cute that we framed it.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to a great year!
We made goals to pray more and love on people more this year as a family!
...
So perfect timing, we took a family dinner tonight and gave them some New Years Party items (like below)...then we came home and enjoyed a movie night and enjoyed wearing our party items! Daddy was at work.
Happy to ring in the New Year with these two...excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family!

Hiking in The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park
We started on a hike near the ocean- in the Redwoods in
The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park
Seriously! Click on the picture and read the Mountain Lion sign...I was freaked out the entire time.
...
We had planned to do a 4 mile loop trail, and somehow took a wrong turn and stopped and turned after ~3.5 miles, hiking over 7 miles with the kids. They did really good and has been their longest hike thus far!
crossing a couple of bridges, we hiked near the river towards a waterfall
blurry...but a near rock scape behind us
Well we survived and the kids had smiles on when we returned!
Another gorgeous sunset and campfire fun with friends
Rylan, Corben and Mason making s'oreos
(no graham cracker or chocolate, we roasted marshmallows and put them right in the middle of an oreo) So yummy!
The kids spent so much time on the beach!
What a great 4 day trip to the beach!

Sea Cliff State Beach Camping trip
Our neighbors/friends invited us to camp at Sea Cliff State Beach the day after Christmas! We were excited for a camping trip to a new location and invited Pop and Nonie and Payton too
...
The first day, the gorgeous sunset
Our site is where I am standing and there is a walkway and then the beach
The next morning as the kids started playing, both Corben and Rylan realized they both had wanted and got Metal Detectors for Christmas. They were excited to search the beach for treasures!
Playing in the hammock
A view of the cement ship behind us at the pier
Beach walk to the pier
If you click on picture, you can see all the RVs along the beach in the background
Pop and Nonie
The kids all brought their scooters and made a track through the sand to play in.
